Simplicity Refined It's hard to believe a difference comes with an island only minutes from "mainland" Key West to the east. How curious life can be.
The essence of the Caribbean basks here. If one ever desired the feeling of being left on an island, in luxury, a cottage on Sunset Key is the place to be.

Private island spawns modern fairy tales Key West is festive, frantic and fascinating. We wouldn't have missed it. But first and foremost, we were glad to make Sunset Key the center of our vacation. Amid Key West's energy and excitement, our island provided a welcome haven of tranquility, not to mention unlimited pampering. It's the stuff of modern fairy tales.

Down to Last Resort? Key to another world is at hand Luxury aside, the resort's most valuable commodities are simple: privacy, quiet, and waterfront - elements sometimes hard to find in the growing bustle of Key West.

Lost in Paradise The degree of seclusion here is up to you. If, for some insane reason, you want to touch base with civilization, the Lil Princess sails between Sunset Key and Key West hourly, allowing you to come and go easily. But once you settle into this island of peace and perfection, your only communication will likely be a scrawled message in a bottle, floating toward the mainland: "Lost in Paradise - No Forwarding Address."

Laid Back Latitudes The restaurant probably has the loveliest ambience in Key West. It's 80 or so cozy seats sit in a wall-less dining room beneath rotating ceiling fans or outside on individual wooden "islands" on the beach. The menu is fresh, big on local seafood and surprisingly affordable. The service is intelligent, unobtrusive and, in the case of Jim Blomeley, suave and witty.

Another Key Asset For Florida Among the many pleasures that await: garden-view, ocean-view and beach-front cottages (fully furnished), with airy living rooms that open onto private verandas, where your complimentary breakfast basket is delivered discreetly each morning; a mesmerizing zero-degree entry pool; a beachfront restaurant and bar; and the special satisfaction of knowing that you can take "getting away from it all" to an entirely new level without traveling to the ends of the earth...

Time Present in Key West Sunset Key...is a new, one-of-a-kind Key West experience. This hideaway island in the Gulf Stream is the perfect place for a stay of any length...The accommodations, with names like Sanctuary, Sand Dollar, Monet and Manatee, are secluded, sophisticated, and surrounded by sun, sea, and sand. This environmentally sensitive island stimulates the senses and helps make a vacation more magical.
